Navajo Pomegranate Pendant

On some monitors the color looks right and on others I notice the blue looks faded. The stone is a very deep blue. It has black/ matrix in the center along with crystal, which does bring your eye to the focal point of the necklace.

Navajo are known for their squash blossom necklaces, which use a number of smaller spacer pieces on the side. This looks a lot like a spacer pendent, especially with the pomegranate design. The bottom being the top part of the pomegranate fruit, which is an unusual tasting fruit, and seem to be slowly disappearing around this area. A nice 20 plus year old piece.

Measurement; Necklace length is 15" long. Pendent is approx. 1 3/4"x 1" wide.
