Onyx and Inlay Necklace and Earrings

This is not Indian made. It's just pretty, Indian style !! Custom, One of a Kind.

The necklace is made with 28 smooth round onyx beads, smaller than a marble, on black silk cord, to make it fixable. They're 6 what looks to be Indian made inlaid beads, which I'm only guesses they're Indian made.

The inlay beads look like they're divide into 4 major sections. (Please excuse my lack of stone names). One section is divide in half, with one side purple and the other malachite, (green). One end is turquoise blue. And the middle is red, yellow, turquoise and what might be onyx black, in a stair pattern. In normal size, you can not make out the thin silver wire diving the sections. Yet, their so delicately made. Thos stones are probably turquoise, red jasper, purple sugalite, malachite, and onyx!

They're 10 small sterling beads with 3 silver possible Bali, (style) beads. And is finished off with a silver plated hook and eye, as you see in a number of Indian pieces.

Ear rings are from top to bottom, a small sterling bead, black onyx bead, silver Bali bead, an inlay bead and last another small sterling bead. Then finished off with a Sterling French with coil ear wire.

NOTE: The inlaid beads are far from perfect, as you can tell. Personally I don't know how anyone could make them. Although some groups / different tribes feel it's wrong to make something perfect, since that is an insult to their / our maker. If you look at one of the beads in the earrings, the inlay work is pretty off. Yet, I find this to be interesting to me, since some tribes have imperfection in their beliefs. Not light in weight, since they are real onyx beads.

Measurements; Necklace is 17-1/2" long. The ear rings are 1-1/4" long, (without including the ear wires).
