Indian Necklace #00119

     This is a beautiful Onyx shadow box necklace. An initial is on back of the silversmith or maker.

     The pendant is a nice Navajo made oval onyx piece that has a deepen area that is called, shadow box, (whereas the area is blacken with a form of acid to blacken the silver). Of course onyx is a highly polished black stone.

     The necklace/ chain part is oblong silver tube beads with small round silver beads between. And are strong on nylon coated wire.

     Up, approx. 1/3 the way on the side are four black onyx cubes, with tiny little silver beads between each. Cube shape beads seem to be very popular right now.

     At the end is a larger bead with what is called a silver cone and is finished off with a hook and eye clasp.

Measurements;  Necklace is approx. 16-3/4" long. The pendant is 1" long, with large 1/2" bail.
