  Unlike the scan, this is a large shinny brass with a pretty shiny shade of pink glass stone. Not dull to the eye.

  As you can tell it's very ornate. You can't see that it's convex (curves out) in the center, which also adds to it's design.

  As with a large number of vintage/ antique pins/ broaches this has a "C" clasp. 

Note:  This is something I would wear. The only flaw for it's age is the pink glass stone. The glass top show some where, including a scratch. Other than that it's in great shape. This is heavy brass, not to be worn with silky or light weight material, due to weight. 

Measurements:  The broach measures approx. 3" long and approx. 1-34" wide.
