     This is an unusual brass pin. Smaller than most that I run across that have a "C" clasp. One thing about the old "C" clasp pins, their turning into collector pins now, so when your done with re-enacting, it becomes something to hand down. The main thing it has got going for it, is it's weight, less than the large ones. I call this one a size medium.

     This would look great pined on your waist/ band to look like a buckle. Of course a gathered waist band wouldn't hurt.

     I spent some time in really cleaning this. You could tell someone got some good use out of it and there are still several years left. 

     This is brass, and I think maybe some copper (?). Five flowers, with four having a rhinestone, in the color of peridot, yet there so small, you can't tell the color. The rhinestones are pronged in, yet the main wear of this piece seems to be on the prongs.

     The rest of the design seems to be of scroll leaves and small ovals in the background. And of course on back is a "C" clasp.

Measurements:  The pin measures 2-1/2"wide, by 1-1/2" high, the way you would wear it normally.
