Silver Plated Sash Pin
This I
found to be an unusual sash pin, do to it's size and metals. Yet it's made
like the old ones. I'd say this probably is late 1940's. Although it could
pass for 1700's with re-enactors. It's great for re-enactors that wear a wool
plaid cover/ shawl. Also, collectors piece.
The hook is from
right to left (?). The pattern is carved flowers and leaves instead of separate
piece (s) made unto it.
It's finished with a
old strong "C" clasp.
Note: Some of the silver plate has worn down to what appears to be
brass or brass color metal.
Measurements: Pin is approx. 2-3/8" wide by 1-3/4"
in height.
