SOLD / Man's Lapel /Pewter Flower Bud Holder This is for a man to wear on his lapel with a small rose bud or what other flower he desires to wear in it. A great piece for someone doing a civilian impression, special events, weddings and dances. It's reproduced of antiqued (blacken) pewter, with a scroll vein design swirling around. It has a safety clasp pin on the back, which is how you tell it's a reproduction. Some were used with wet moss to keep the flower fresh. I would think that could leak and leave a nasty stain, I suggest a very small plastic hold from the florist to insert inside, or a damp paper towel. Measurements: This measures approx. 2" long and tube top opening is approx. 1/2" across. |
