ALL SOLD Hat Pins of Different Sizes There's lots of controversy on the subject of hat pins. From what I've read, they started off short in the 1850's and enlarged up to 9" plus by the turn of the century. But, you have to decide for yourself what size you want. A. This one is 6-7/8" long with the top being approx. 1-7/8" of that. From top down, is an old antique medium bright color pink hat pin top, then two light pink swirl teardrop shape beads. In the middle is a sterling beaded bead, while at the bottom it's finished off with a light pink quartz bead. Note: The pink looks a deeper pink on my monitor then it is. $11.00 B. Is a short 4" long hat pin. The top is of a gold topaz glass, followed by a black teardrop shape glass bead, with a dash of blue, and two round dashes of pink. The bead top is approx. 1-1/4" of the pin size. $7.00 C. This one is 5" long, being the top piece is 1-1/8" of that. From top down, is an old antique medium bright color pink hat pin top, then a silver bead cap, which under it is a beautiful cheerful pink round glass bead, that has 3 swirls of pink inside of it, to represent roses, then finished off with a dusty rose facet shiny Czech glass bead. Note: The pink on my monitor shows the pink top deeper then it is and the round bead is brighter then what shows. $9.00 |
