ALL SOLD Hat Pins of 7-3/4 Inch There's lots of controversy on the subject of hat pins. From what I've read, they started off short in the 1850's and enlarged up to 9" plus by the turn of the century. But, you have to decide for yourself what size you want. These are all 7-3/4" long, that is including the top parts. A. This hat pin starting from the top, is a gold plated bead, gold plated bead cap, with a white and blue design long tube like glass bead, follow by another G.P. bead. After that is a old small glass cobalt blue tear drop bead, finished with another G.P. bead. Top part measures, 1-3/4" tall. At $11.00 B. Starting from the top is a gold plated bead, a sapphire crystal, followed by another G.P. bead. Then comes a beautiful Venetian sort -a royal blue glass bead with swirls of pink and green to represent a flower, which there is two flowers. Finishing off is a G.P. bead, the last sapphire crystal and last a G.P. bead. The top measures approx. 1-3/8" tall. At $9.00 C. The last has a sterling bead, then a dusty rose crystal, another sterling bead, followed by a bead cap of silver, with blacken antiqued finish on it. The main or focal bead is a cheerful bright pink glass, unlike what my monitor shows, with 3 swirls of pink to represent flowers. Then back to a bead cap of silver blacken antiqued finish, a small sterling bead, a dusty rose crystal, then finished by the last sterling bead. Top is 1-5/8" long. $ 11.00
