Gold Plated Hat Pins The 4 shown on this page are all gold plated, (G.P.) light weight head hat pins. There are reproduction broach numbers shown on some hat pins to use as an examples /ideas that they could go with, other ones you'd have to go to the reproduction broach site to see. Although, they were not bought that way. They could be worn with any color, since several women of the 1800's only own one are two for their dresses. They're all approx. 8" long and come with a clutch, rather you use it are not. From left to right. A. SOLD First is a soft forest green German vintage glass 4 sided teardrop, a G.P. bead on top and bottom. At the top is a vintage brass with blacken antiqued filigree bead cap. Green just about goes with everything. Top part is 1-3/8" long. $ 9.00. There are a pair of ear rings #00111 that match this hat pin, if interested. B. SOLD This one has two vintage Amethyst facet cut glass tear drops. There is a G.P. bead cap on both ends, and trimmed with 3 G.P. beads. Top measures 1-1/2" long. As old as they are they have what is called a couple of flea bits on them, flea bites are nicks in the facet cuts, yet it doesn't take away from the beauty. $ 11.00 C. SOLD Two G.P. beads, with one vintage German white swirl glass bead finished with two frosted blue Czech glass beads. Top is 1-3/8" long. $ 7.00 See also matching brooch and ear rings #00171 D. SOLD Last on the right is a soft forest green German vintage glass 4 sided teardrop, a G.P. bead on top and bottom. And finished off with a clean, (not antiqued) brass top, with leaf pattern.
