SOLD / Cameo Locket Bow Pin This I would call a size medium pin. Just an attractive size for a locket to carry a picture or lock of hair. It doesn’t have a plastic cover inside, rather or not it ever had one or not, I don’t know. I’m trying to find one, in case someone would like it. It was gotten at an estate sale, although I don’t think it’s very old. As popular as bow pins have been in the past and present, I’m surprise we don’t see more on the market. So it’s a fine, in itself. The cameo I feel is made of a resin, in the color of light Cornelian with cream color bust. The oval frame and bow consist of gold color metal. The bow design, is with lines and the locket has 4 roses and leafs on it. No markings. My monitor shows dark, where the gold color metal is very shinny, instead of looking antiqued. This can be worn many ways, as a pin, pined on a ribbon and wore around the neck. Even if you feel like it, another cameo, just by changing it with another. I would suggest staying with a size medium. Measurements: Length of bow approx. 1" wide. The locket is approx. 1 1/4", an approx. 7/8" wide. |
