The other side

     Two in one. This is a heart shape broach, since it has a pin on back and also a pendant, with a loop to pull a chain or ribbon thru. Even more fascinating, you can wear it with dark clothing, since one side of the center is a pretty pearly white oval. Also it can be worn with light clothes, just by flipping the center piece over to reveal a white and black cameo. The center pieces are probably made of acrylic and resin. The mount is in gold color metal to look like scrolled pot metal. I have no idea how old it is, probably not to old at all. I found it at an auction.

     I'd say it's between a size medium and a large. 

Measurements:  From the widest points, it's approx. 2" high and 1-5/8" wide.
