SOLD / "Sisters" Pin and Ear Rings This is a pin with a safety latch pin on back. Vintage, made of what looks to be pot metal, (metal that looks strong, yet is soft). Gold antiqued in black with a round pearl on each side. A tiny rose is in the center and a tear drop shape pearl hanging from there. The old chain was removed and a jump ring chain added in it's place, with a hanging cameo also vintage and of the same metal. Cameo is small, made of cornelian color resin and with cream color Greek dancers. The mount that holds it, has a double hinge style back. Probably made in the 1950's or 60's. The back looks like it might of been made to hang/ hook over a ribbon. Which I left it to be worn that way or this way. Including wearing the pin without the cameo, also adding something else to hang if you so desire. Multi ways to wear it.?? Even a number of medium size pendants on this site can be worn in place of the small one. Picture of ear rings to follow. Measurements: The pin measures 2-1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Cameo is 1-1/8" in height and almost 1" in width. And the center pearl tear drop is almost 3/4" long. |
