     This is a nice sterling 1943 Dutch signed piece. This small Delfts pin is hand signed on back as "Delfts Holland, 43". In great condition.

     The mount is made of sterling silver with an outer edge rope design and with the old "C" clasp closure.

     The center is made of porcelain  and hand paint in the traditional dark blue of the traditional Dutch scene, of houses and a wind mill.   You can't tell from my scan, but it also has blue and white clods.  

   This would be great for those that re-enact W.W. I., although the design goes way back, yet I'm not really sure if it's pre or post Civil War.

Measurements:  Pin is approx. 1-3/8" wide by almost 3/4".
