SOLD / Purple and Silver Brooch/ Pin This fits in my size large category. Center/ cameo is made of purple color resin, giving that raised feel of carved shell, with a white color bust. The purple looks closer to beet purple (vegetable) in color. Several people call her the pony tail girl, but if you look at it well, you'll notice she has her hair swept up and around with a ribbon and a small portion of hair has fallen out. On young women in the 1800's and even back further, seem to have their portraits painted in the same fashion. The mount is silver plated with a smooth feel to it. Simply, yet elegant. Has a safety latch pin on back. Measurements: The height is 2" by 1-5/8" in width . |
