     This is in my size large category. Pin is to pin onto your bodice/ blouse with a large loop on back to string a chain or ribbon through, so two in one.

     The center/ cameo is made of resin to give that carved look and feel to it. The main colors are a cream or off white figure with a cream to rust background. Very ornately done, of a harpist on a rock playing out to sea.

     Mount, is doubled. The first one, which you can hardly see has a scalloped edge. Then it was made into the larger stamped brass antiqued mount. The mount is designed with leafs, flowers and berries.

     I remember their was a story as a child, that the old sailors use to believe if you heard a harpist at sea, if you were to follow the sound, it would lead you to safety, yet that really was a long time ago, so not sure on that story. 

Measurements:  The height is 2-3/8" by 2 in width.
