    This is in my size large category.

     The mount is smooth silver plated with a safety clasp on back to pin to your bodice/ blouse.

     The center is raised resin, to give that look & feel of carved shell or stone. It has a smoky gray color outline/ background, with white portrait of a Roman or Greek woman. This scan does not show all the details that are on it. She has to her left a bird looking up at her. What doesn't show is in her hair is a band & flowers. Very pretty and delicate.

Measurements:  The brooch is approx. 2" in height by 1-9/16".
