     This is in my size large category. And is what I call two in one. Being a loop on the back to put a chain or ribbon on. Also has a safety clasp to pin it onto your bodice/ blouse. 

     The mount is good weight stamped brass with bronze, (brown) antiquing added to it. With the design of grapes/ berries, leafs wheat and flowers.

     The center is convex, (making a good 3-D) piece. It's raised resin to give that look & feel of carved shell or stone. It's in cream and what they call cornelian in color, yet it's like a rust color. The portrait is in cream of a woman with her hair swept up on top of her head. 

Measurements:  The brooch is approx. 2-3/8" in height by 2".
