SOLD / Turquoise Heaven Necklace / Cameo / Earrings This is BEAUTIFUL necklace with matching earrings. It's made of gold color metal and what is called transfer cameo pictures. The gold color metal is well done, almost like the real thing. Do not know when and where theses were made. This was hard to scan, due to the depth. Got theses from Canada. The chain looks like 2 twisted together, yet the chain is made this way, into one. It has end and spring clasp, as you can see. The pendant is of heavy filigree design, with what might be color turquoise glass beads, numbering 50, just on the pendant itself. Another 3 small ones on the bail with a large one in the center. These are all held in with prongs with none missing or discolored. The bail is made onto the chain, for no sliding, which is nice, yet rare. The cameos, I think are acrylic. Their showing what I call air pockets under the pictures, which tells me they might of been made in the late 1940's. The late part only because, I normally see more air pockets than what theses show. Or they might of been well kept. It does show hardly any wear to them. The scene is of a courting couple. The earrings are of matching filigree design, color, and cameos. They have 4 stones to each. And are finished with a gold plated French with coil ear wire. Measurements: The chain measures approx. 23" long. The pendant is 2" long with the small bail by 1-1/2" wide. The 3 dangles are 1/4" long ea. The large bail with stones is 5/8" in diameter. The earrings are 1-1/16" long, (not including the ear wire), by 5/8" wide. |
