SOLD / Lovely Vintage Cameo Necklace &/or Broach This is a nice vintage cameo necklace. Are at least it looks like the ones made around the 1940's or 50's. Unlike the scan this is bright clean gold color. Doesn't look to have been worn much, if at all. That is why I'm having trouble with dating it. Also why I priced it low. Did not scan well. The chain can also be removed and it can be worn as a broach, since it has a pin with a safety latch on back. The mount is a bright gold color metal. The cameo is synthetic of a thick 3-D look with a brown antiquing added to it. The bust looks a lot of what is being reproduce today, although it has some small changes of differences to it.(?) Outside the mount are some small synthetic pearls surrounding it. And at the bottom there is a heart shape piece that holds a group of chains dangling down. The chain is that old style look, that have little slashes in the ring parts. Which you can't see from this scan. Finished off with a spring clasp. Note: Not dull in color. Is a bright gold color. This would look great for any dress up occasions. Measurements: The necklace (chain) measures 22" long. Pendant/ broach 3-3/8" long (including tassels) and 1-1/4" wide. |
