SOLD/ $27.99 "Brass Pink" Necklace + Earrings This is a brass necklace made of 3 different stages/ ages and design of brass. I made it this way purposely to show the stages and differences between them, which ended up giving, it's own style. In the 1800's we know nothing went to waste, so this would not been unheard of. We'll start from the center with a medium blacken/ antiqued brass, of what I call a half filigree circle. Down the center from the 1/2 circle is a small lightly antiqued chain, tiny gold plated (G.P.) bead, a small white Venetian glass bead with tiny swirls to represent a flower and foliage, a Czech pink crystal, a milk white glass teardrop then another G.P. bead. On each side of the center circle, from top down is a G.P. bead, a very lightly antiqued filigree brass piece over a pink simply etch glass design bead, another G.P. bead, pink crystal and then finished off with another G.P. bead. The rest of the necklace is finished with the same brass chain as in the center and two more half circles. At the end is a G.P. hook and eye clasp. Earrings where made a little simpler, since the necklace will catch most ones eye, you wouldn't want the distraction. They're two G.P. beads, top and bottom, a Czech pink crystal and a milk white tear drop glass bead. Note: A lovely delicate piece. Good for most colors and most clothes styles, such as day &/ or ball dress. Would look great on a burgundy or baby blue velvet day dress. Measurements: The necklace measures 18-1/2" long. The circles are almost 1-1/4" long, the center drop is approx. 2-3/4" down from circle. Earrings are 1-1/4" long, (not including ear wires). |
