Silver Dress Clip / Broach

 This is a beautiful vintage silver broach, which use to be called a dress clip. Probably made in the 1920-30's. Yet the design goes back to the 1800's. If you look at the back of some old chatelaine, they look like this, so the design idea makes you wonder, when did they start using this form ? You could add a chain at the bottom to hook on a purse or fan. If you'd like me to do this, e-mail me. Also, this is a collectors piece.

   The top is dimensional, (two layers), one over the other. Design is of flowers, leaves and branches.

  The back is engraved with flowers and a geometric design. There are 4 small pointed prongs that hold it on your blouse, waist band or scarf.

  This is a great piece for modern day wear or for re-enactors alike.

  In great shape and easy to clean.

Measurements: It measures 1 3/4 " in diameter. The back is just a touch smaller.
