Double Fan / Chatelaine Pin

    An old brass probably 1930's -40's chatelaine pin. Added to this lovely pin is a drop brass circle link chain with a gold filled swivel at the end. The swivel is the hardest part to come by today, since not many people like them, which makes imports hard to fine, and probably will be harder to find with our import problems increasing.

     Both fans have lightly carved like designs on them, both with safety latch pin backs.

     For re-enactors, this is to be worn at your right side of waist. On the swivel you could hook and carry your fan, (how fitting) or any other items, such as a small purse, gloves and etc. The distance from the fans, is left up to the individual. 

     A great piece of history for an re-enactors to wear and be proud of.

Note: Swivels are not that easy to use, personally I would just use it lightly or just for looks. Or maybe they need to be worn in (?).  Also, since this pin is mix of brass and gold filled, it can not be sealed to keep polishing down, it will need polishing every week or each time you wear it. 

Measurements:  The main fan measures 2-3/8" wide by 1-3/8 tall and the short one, is 1" wide by 3/4" tall.
