Gold Color Purse, Glove Holder??

This I think is a 1950's glove or handkerchief holder. The chain at the bottom of the picture hooks unto your purse, whereas you squeeze the end to make the ends, (top of picture) open to insert your gloves &/or handkerchiefs.

It's in gold color metal with what looks like mother of pearl in the center for decoration. The sides which is not shown, is decorated with roses and leafs. The border around the circle you can't really make out, yet is a filigree scalloped design.

For those collectors, this is a must for every collection.

Measurements; The chain is approx. 3" totally. From the bottom to top of clasp is approx. 1-5/8" width is 1-1/8" at widest point.
