Custom Art/ Collage Pin / Broach

     This I think was bought in Monterey California at the jewelry art fair several years back, in the 1990's. It's not signed, so I have no idea who the maker is.

     It's made on a large brass oval base with safety clap. The fan I love, it's of some stone or material that gives a shine length wise, in cream color. One oval stone is hanging down at the bottom, with 9 others on the fan. Then covered in different size pearls, scattered  all around. There are 9 rhinestones that are set with prongs for safety, between each fan tip, and one large one in the center bottom. The back ground has two stamped design brass hearts and behind them are 2 sets of lightly antiqued brass leaves. In the center is a pewter color woman's head with a black onyx cab in her hair.

     It's a really an interesting pin. Would catch anyone's eye. I've seen a number of pins, that are made of a cluster of jewelry findings and are being called Collage pins. I do not know if this was before or after my time. I don't remember collage pins. Yet, this one I really like.

     Would go with both gold or silver jewelry, and almost any color of clothing.

NOTE: Heavy in weight. Can not be worn on light weight or sheer clothing.

Measures;  Approx. 2-1/2" at widest point by 2-3/8" at the highest point, (not counting the droplet, which is 3/4").
